How To Delete Music From iPhone Music App In iOS 9
However, in the iOS 9, you must go to Music app, click on the sign at behind the “Songs”, a drop-down list will appear, simply switch on the “Only Downloaded Music”, to show only music available offline on your iPhone.
Additional, you need to remove all songs on your iPhone, which store offline on your iPhone by syncing or purchasing & downloading from iTunes. Just simply delete it one by one or use “Sync” method above to delete all music at once.
How To Delete Music From iPhone Music App In iOS 8
In the iOS 7, to delete all music from your iPhone or iPad, simply go to Settings > General > Usage > Music. In the next step, tap on “Edit” to bring up “Delete” button, and then tap on the “Delete” button to delete all music.

However, in the iOS 8, it has an extra step that requires you to tap on the “red minus” icon to bring up “Delete” button.
Please note when you use “Sync” feature in the iTunes program on your computer to delete all songs, there is no way to get it back. Make sure you have created a backup for those songs (in case you still need it).
