Microsoft has rolled out the Windows 10 to all users, and it’s now available to download and install on a new computer, or upgrade from Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 to Windows 10.
However, after the upgrade progress is done, the default browser will be automatically changed to Microsoft Edge browser, instead of your previous settings, like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
In order to switch back to Firefox or Chrome as default browser, it’s more than one step to set the default browser. It’s complicated than Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1.

How to Change Your Default Browser in Windows 10
In this article, I will use Firefox as an example to tell you how to change the default browser in Windows 10. Follow this step by step guide to switch back to Firefox.
1. Click on Firefox menu button, select Options.
2. Click on Make Default button in the General tab.
3. The Windows Settings app will open
4. Scroll down to “Web browser” section. You can see Microsoft Edge as a default browser. Click on it and change to the browser you want.
5. It’s done.
