Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy Tab S2, available in two display sizes: 8-inch and 9.7-inch with 2,048 x 1,536 pixels of resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. The aspect ratio is different from the widescreen of the Galaxy Tab S and similar to the Galaxy Tab A lineup.

Powered by an octa-core Exynos 533 SoC with 3 GB of RAM, the Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S successor has a combination camera between 8MP and 2.1MP, a choice of 32GB or 64GB of storage, a MicroSD card slot to expand storage up to 128GB, a fingerprint scanner as well as a 100 GB of Microsoft OneDrive storage and runs on Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop with Samsung’s Touchwiz.

Currently, Samsung has not released any detail about the pricing yet, but both versions of the Galaxy Tab S2 will be available in the market in the next year.
