Oxford has added “selfie” to its dictionary in 2013 and now Asus is using that word to name their new smartphone with the same purpose. The new Asus smartphone features a 5.5-inch display like ZenFone 2, with full HD resolution (at 1,080 x 1,920 pixels) and Gorilla Glass 4.
Called Asus Selfie, this new Android smartphone has been introduced at Computex 2015 in Taipei and powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM (or 3GB of RAM, depends on variants) and Adreno 405 GPU.
The ZenFone Selfie has a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture, auto focus with laser, dual LED flash and dual SIM card slots.
You can select between 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and can expand up to 64GB via microSD card. The Selfie smartphone runs on Asus ZenUI software (based on Android 5.0 Lollipop), and support for Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G LTE as well as GPS and microUSB connectivities.
