Sony Xperia Z now gets Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update


Sony has rolled out the Google’s Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for the Xperia Z, and users now able to upgrade through over the air.

This new update brings a lot of new features, including Google Meterial design, new lockscreen notifications, customizable settings, support for guest mode and multi user profiles as well as move apps to SD card option.

The update is about 700MB in size, move build number to version 10.6.A.0.454, and make sure to backup your important data and files, in case something goes wrong. So, if you have any devices in the Xperia Z series, including Xperia Z, Xperia ZR, Xperia ZL as well as Xperia Tablet Z; let check for the update.

Last two weeks, we got a news from the Sony Phillipines’s Twitter account that the Lollipop update will be rolled out to Xperia Z series starts in May 4. But maybe something happened and the update was delayed until today.
