Information regarding the Qualcomm Snapdragon 818 SoC with 10-cores has been leaked, and it would be the first 10-cores, three clusters SoC for mobile devices.
Following the rumors, Snapdragon 818 SoC would have three blocks of CPU cores. With that, the first cluster has four low power 1.2GHz Cortex A53 cores, the second cluster has two middle power 1.6GHz Cortex A53 cores and the third has four high power 2.0GHz Cortex A72 cores.
Moreover, the Snapdragon 818 SoC will use LPDDR4 RAM, with Adreno 532 GPU, support for LTE-A Cat. 10, and based on 20nm technology.

It seems the Qualcomm Snapdragon 818 SoC have less clock speed than we are getting with MediaTek’s Helio X20 chipset. So let us wait for the official statements from Qualcomm about this upcoming chipset.
