New Apple iMac Retina, MacBook Pro with Force Touch trackpad and 2Gbps SSD

Apple has just updated new pricing and specifications for iMac Retina as well as MacBook Pro 15-inch. Apple iMac has prices starting at $1,999, while Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch has prices starting $1,999.

These new iMac and MacBook Pro also have changed on specifications, then the prices are going up and down, respectively.

MacBook Pro 15-inch comes a 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB of memory, 256GB PCIe-based SSD that deliver 2Gbps transfer rate (up to 2.5 times faster than the previous generation), with force touch trackpad, and longer battery life.

You can also choose the higher model for $2,499 for a 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB of memory, 512GB PCIe-based SSD and an AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB GDDR5 memory.

Meanwhile, iMac Retina starts at $1,999 and features 5K display with 5,120 x 2,880 pixels of resolution, with a 3.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 CPU, an AMD Radeon R9 M290 graphics card. It also has 8GB of RAM, 1TB of storage (regular hard drive, not the Fusion Drive), as well as two Thunderbolt 2 ports and four USB 3.0 ports.

If you are looking for a top-end iMac, it starts at $2,299 for a 3.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5, an AMD Radeon R9 M290X graphics card and a 1TB Fusion Drive.
