ASUS has expanded the ZenFone 2 to global and get a lot of successes with this middle range Android smartphone. And now, the company will release both $199 and $299 models in the U.S tomorrow.
ASUS ZenFone 2 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display and powered by a 2.3GHz, 64-bit quad-core Intel processor, with 4GB RAM.
It also has a 13 MP main camera with super resolution and low light mode, and a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging system which will help you charge a dead battery to 60% in 40 minutes. The company says the hardware makes ZenFone 2 to be a “powerhouse”, but we would love to see the comparison between Intel’s chip with the best from Samsung or Qualcomm.
In the past, ASUS has sold the Padfone X and Padfone X mini in the U.S. So, selling the ZenFone 2 is a new approach for the company.
The ZenFone 2 will run on Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop and will be available via online retailers, not through carriers.
