According to the FCC’s website, ASUS is preparing to launch a new family of ZenPad Android tablet devices.
ASUS ZenPad 8 tablets feature an 8-inch display at 2,048 x 1,536 pixels, and powered by Intel Atom processors: Atom Z356 or Z3450, a choice of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB or 64GB internal storage, as well as 2GB RAM.
ASUS will also release two 7-inch Android tablets, which will have low resolution at 1,024 x 600, IPS panel, with quad-core Intel Atom x3 CPU and 1GB RAM. It will also have 8GB or 16GB internal storage and expandable via a microSD card.
For these Android tablets, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth come as standard and you will able to select Wi-Fi only models or 3G models. It also have a 2 MP main camera with VGA front camera and come pre-loaded with Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The ZenPad 7 tablets should be available in July for €139 (or about $158) for Wi-Fi only models and €159 (about $181) for 3G models. So, there’s plenty of choice.
