Intel updates NUC lineup with Broadwell CPU


Beside the announcement of the Intel Stick PC, Intel has updated the NUC lineup with Broadwell Intel Core CPU, more slimmer, swappable lids, Intel HD 5500, 6000 on-chip graphics which deliver 40% faster performance than the previous generation.

The new Intel NUC small form factor computers will be available in two configurations: the NUC5i3RYK and NUC5i3RYH. The different key between these models that the NUC5i3RYK model comes with M.2 storage interface while the NUC5i3RYH comes with both SATA and M.2 interface.

Intel NUC PCs with Intel Broadwell Core i3-5010U

Both models are powered by an Intel Core i3-5010U CPU with Intel HD 5500 integrated graphics and support for up to 16GB RAM, DDR3L RAM. It also has one mini-HDMI 1.4a port, one mini-DisplayPort 1.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4 x USB 3.0 ports.


Intel NUC PCs with Intel Broadwell Core i5-5250U

Two more new models: the NUC5i5RYK and NUC5i5RYH, which feature Intel Core i5-5250U CPU with Intel HD 6000 integrated graphics will be available in the market in March, while the NUC5i3RYK and NUC5i3RYH with Intel Core i3 will available in February. The version of NUC PC with Intel Core i7 NUC5i7RYH will be ready in the market in April.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on the pricing for these NUC PCs at this moment yet.
