Mozilla has launched the Fx0 Firefox OS smartphone for KDDI carrier

Mozilla is collaborating with KDDI, one of the biggest Japanese carriers, to launch the newest Firefox operating system (OS) smartphone called the Fx0.

Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, the Fx0 is a Firefox OS smartphone with a transparent case which you can see all of the things inside it. The Fx0 smartphone comes with the latest of Firefox OS and support for latest technology such as NFC, 4G LTE network, WebRTC and more.


Made by LG, the Mozilla Fx0 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and a 16GB of internal storage, expandable with a microSD card slot. It features a 4.7-inch IPS display with 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, with a 2,370mAh battery and runs on Firefox OS.

According to the KDDI announcement, they will sell the Mozilla Fx0 on December 25, 2014, but there’s still no word on the pricing of this Firefox OS smartphone yet.
