HTC announces RE action camera for $199, 16-megapixel with IP57 resistant


HTC has just announced its new action camera named RE and also known as GoPro competitor. The RE action camera features a 16-megapixel 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor with an ultra wide len at 146-degree and comes with IP57 dust and water resistant (you are able to upgrade to IPX8 grade with an accessory).

It’s a light action camera which weighed only 66 grams and also has a 820mAh battery which can support for capture up to 1,200 photos or 100 minutes of video.
The default storage is 8GB but you can upgrade it up to 128GB with an external microSD card. The RE action camera can work in both normal mode such as 1080p at 30fps or 720p at 120fps and slow motion mode.

Supports for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n an Bluetooth 4.0, you can easy to share your images and videos anytime to anyone you want.

If you would like to get one, the HTC RE will be up on the shelf in the U.S market by the end of October for $199.
