Google has released the 64-bit Android L emulator for x86 Intel processors

You can now download Google Android L 64-bit emulator for x86 Intel-based processors from Google.

According to the post on Google+ from Android Developer, Google lets Android app developers to download the new 64-bit version of Android L.

With this new emulator, Android app developers can optimize their app for the 64-bit version of the Android L operating system and lets developers to increased addressable memory space, a larger number of registers and new instruction sets.


Also, there’s a bad news that this release only works with x86 Intel-based processors. Most Android devices now using ARM processors and there’s still no information when a 64-bit emulator support it.
