ASUS Announces Strix GTX 980 and Strix GTX 970


Today, ASUS has announced its new two gaming graphics card with factory-overlocked cores to deliver cool and silent, better gaming experiences for gamers. Based on the new Maxwell platform but use bigger GM204 graphics processor unit (GPU) with 2048 cores for GTX 980 and 1664 cores for the GTX 970.

Both new graphics card features a 10-mm heatpipes, DIGI+ VRM technology and Super Alloy Power upgrades for enhanced durability and cooling. These graphics cards also get factory-overlocked at 1279MHz (GTX 980) and 1253MHz (GTX 970) and come with 4GB of 7GHz GDDR5.

Both Strix GTX 980 and Strix GTX 970 come with the latest and exclusive DirectCU II cooling technology from ASUS, for best performance of cooling and 220%  more heat dissipation with the design and also 3x quieter, very low noise.
